I Bought Counter Strike: Source
After much debate about having time for computer gaming in my life (other than some occasional WoW), I finally broke down and bought Counter Strike: Source. I used to be really in to the original Counter Strike, spending up to 5 hours in one night playing with my friends at e-Cyberdeck internet cafe in Irvine.
Well, after spending the last few nights playing CS:S I’m happy to report the game-play is nearly identical to the CS 1.6 I remember from over 4 years ago but with better graphics and physics. Valve did a great job capturing the original CS after the not so impressive CS: Condition Zero. Even though I suck and have trouble getting more kills than deaths, there’s something about this game that is just so fun. Most people would think you’re crazy to play round after round of the same map for 3 hours, but ask the millions of other people that own the most successful multi player first-person shooter ever!
