Rant: Stop sticking up for politicians.

I’m not sure while the Democrats are so pissed about Bush, he’s not even a true Republican by definition. He works closer to Democratic agendas than his own party. And he’s now giving them what they want by using TARP to bail out the automakers, going directly against his Republican colleagues. Yet they still trash on him. It’s amazing how much of their own identity people lose by sticking to their party lines – even when they know it’s not true. There’s corruption on both sides. Democrats like to cater to the poor and low middle class when they themselves are filthy rich and make money off these classes. Class warfare gives them leverage to pushing their pork agendas. Republicans have lost their fundamentals of limited govt and free market.

Bernanke and Paulson lied to everyone. Telling us that Fannie and Freddy were fine when they weren’t. Then they lied to us again about the 700B initiative that needed to be enacted “immediately” but has little to show for itself but bailing out all Bernanke’s friends. Then Bernanke wanted less transparency by managing the 700B himself. Everyone sticking up for politicians is wasting their time. Politics attracts corruption.

And now the messiah Obama is having to deal with this mess with the IL governor in which his own staff is tied to it in some way or another. I personally think Mr. Obama is tied to this in some way. How can you come out of the Chicago political machine and not have some corruption??

My point is, stop sticking up for these people that would step on you without a thought for their own agendas. There is so much social warfare lately it’s insane. We entrust and vote for these officials who we don’t even like based off utopian ideals and it never happens. This is not the America we should be and it will be our downfall. For some reason Banana Republic comes to mind. And I don’t mean for Christmas shopping at the mall!

nVidia Geforce GTX 260 vs 8800GT

It feels like only yesterday when the nVidia 8800GT was making headlines and breaking all sorts of records as the most insane card ever. At $300 for the XFX OC’ed edition, I was lucky to even get my hands on one back then. Now a year later, the 8800GT is old news and is really only desired for SLI applications. Albeit, while it’s still blazing fast, it’s eclipse by the new GTX series by nVidia. Read more…
